Sai Yok Yai-Wasserfall und Lawa-Höhle

Thailand

Take a boat trip to the Sai Yok Yai waterfall and Lawa cave, and experience some of Kanchanaburi's most breathtaking natural attractions. First, enjoy a peaceful boat ride on the Kwae Noi river.

The Sai Yok Yai waterfall, which flows directly into the river, is located right by a suspension bridge near the visitor centre, while the smaller Sai Yok Lek waterfall is located 300 meters further down. Both waterfalls can be enjoyed from viewpoints on the opposite side, which are easily accessible after a short walk.

After the waterfalls, the adventure continues to the Lawa cave, the largest cave in the Kanchanaburi province, situated within Siayok National Park. You have the opportunity to take a boat ride and then a mountain bike to the cave. The entrance to the cave is narrow, but inside it opens into a spacious area with several chambers, including the music chamber, throne chamber, and curtain chamber, richly decorated with stalactites and stalagmites. The cave is also home to the Khun Kitti, the world’s smallest bat, which is both harmless and fascinating.

This half-day excursion combines scenic experiences with physical activity and is a perfect way to experience the natural beauty of Thailand.
